9 am – Holy Eucharist with Hymns (Family Service)
Children are always welcome at Holy Innocents and the 9 am service is especially designed to welcome them and their families. There are coffee and refreshments for all immediately following the service.
10 am – Godly Play
Godly Play is offered for children from three to ten years old. Middle-schoolers in the Rite 13 group also meet during that time.
11am – Choral Eucharist
Music is an integral part of this service – the choir leads the congregation in singing hymns and graces the service with a rich selection of choral anthems. All are invited to join us for coffee hour following the service.
Last Sunday of the Month & During Summer Months
There is only one service on the last Sunday of each month at 10 a.m. This is a chance for our whole worshiping family to meet and stay connected. A coffee hour mixer follows.
- 6:00 pm Taize — A contemplative service of Taize style singing, prayer, and shadows
- 6:30 pm Potluck – A community potluck supper begins at 6:30 pm. All are welcome, whether you’ve brought a dish or not!
- 7:15 pm – Christian Education
How we worship
All who worship at Holy Innocents are invited to participate in the liturgy in whatever ways they feel called.
Holy Innocents Church uses the Revised Common Lectionary (RCL) to determine the readings for each Sunday’s service. Each Eucharist has particular readings assigned depending on the liturgical season and the life of the Church. For each service, there is a reading from Hebrew Scriptures, a Psalm, a reading from the Epistles, and a reading from the Gospel.
